I only created one of these doors, but I'll do my best to give you some tips for creating the others. As usual--parents are so creative when it comes to designing doors! Love all of these.

Simple Mummy Door  -- First cover the door in black paper. Next, add the eyes. Finally, cover with random strips of white paper.

Monsters, Inc. Idea | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Monsters, Inc. Door Idea -- This one will take a little bit more time, but I've provided a tutorial and printables to help you out. Visit this link for directions and printable hands and facial features.

Dracula Door | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Dracula Door -- Cover the top ⅔ of the door with white paper, and cut the other basic shapes out of red, black and white.

Cute Witch Door | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Striped Witch Door -- Don't worry about being fancy. Notice that the only part of the witch not created with basic shapes is her shoes. If you can cut a straight line, you can probably do this. Create the trim for the door with black crepe paper.

Spooky Students Door | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Spooky Students Door -- It looks like the ghosts and haunted houses were printed using a die cut machine (many school have them in their work rooms) or with a cutting machine like a Silhouette cameo. If you don't have access to any of those things, try the dollar store. You might just be able to find a ghost-shaped packet of paper.

Simple Polka Dotted Monster Idea | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Polka Dotted Monster Door -- This is one of my favorites! Cover the door in any solid, bright color. Use tupperware lids to trace circles out of scrapbook paper.  Freehand the mouth, teeth and horns, and turn the largest circle in to an eye. You can do this one -- and it look so cool!

Scarecrow Door Idea | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Scarecrow Door -- The supply room is out of brown paper? No worries. The brown door is perfect for a scarecrow! Use black masking tape for the "stitching."

Simple Frankenstein Door Idea | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Frankentstein Door Idea -- This is another super simple one. Cover the door in green, add a few touches with paper cutouts, and then draw on the details with a black sharpie.

Simple Spider Web Door | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Simple Spiderweb Door -- You know all of those spiderwebs that you can buy after Halloween for super cheap? Grab extras to use on classroom doors next year! I think you could cover the door in any color behind the web. You could even use a store bought spider. (Just don't be surprised if you find the kids taking it off the door and taking it out to recess to play)!

Maleficent Door Idea | Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

My teacher is Maleficent -- I'm afraid I can't tell you exactly how to create this cool Maleficent, but I bet if you study the picture, you'll find the basic shapes. Some of the pieces are created with paper curls.

| Quick and Easy Halloween Classroom Door Decorations {OneCreativeMommy.com}

Caution Tape Door -- Last but not least, the Caution door. If you have little time, but want to create a fun and creepy feel, just grab a few rolls of caution tape and get wrapping! I love the addition of the spider web with tiny black spiders crawling through it!

Have fun door decorating this year. As a former teacher, I know that the teachers really appreciate it when room moms and volunteers take care of fun things like this for the class. I hope you enjoy these ideas. I'd love to hear what you're doing for your kids' classes.

One of the best things about teaching science in elementary school is the fact that you get to decorate your classroom door or walls.

All the teachers I know say that decorating their classroom is one of their favorite parts of the job! And personally, I love a highly-decorated classroom as a parent- because decorating teachers tend to be more involved across the board!

If you need new inspiration for your Halloween classroom doors, these science decorating ideas are just what you need to bring a bit of spark back into the STEM classroom.

Although you don’t need science lab decoration ideas to teach STEM activities for kids, it certainly makes your classroom more exciting for kids and you’ll totally win your school’s Halloween door decorating contest (if your school doesn’t do this yet, start it!)

HOW TO DECORATE A CLASSROOM DOOR

Decorating a classroom door doesn’t have to be complicated, although a lot of schools offer prizes for the best Halloween classroom doors (or you could always start a contest pool with your fellow teachers!).

Although orginal ideas are a lot of fun, sometimes you won’t have time to come up with a unique Halloween door idea on your own. That’s where we come in!

Most classroom doors are made using various art supplies. Bright green, orange, black, and purple are popular colors at Halloween.

One quick tip is to use pre-made letters. You do NOT want to be spending hours cutting out paper letters. You can always reuse the letters for multiple ideas.

If you can’t use staples, sticky tack or duct tape tends to have the strongest bonding power.

Before heading to the craft store (or Amazon, hello), it helps to sketch out the idea on paper. Then you can use a measuring tape to find out exactly how much of each item you will need so you don’t over-buy.

And the beauty of these doors is that if you are careful, you can use them year after year with just a few touch-ups.

If you don’t know what to get- try these supplies for your Halloween classroom door planning.

You can also find many of these supplies at a local craft store- but if you’re anything like me you never can make it to the craft store before it closes! I’d much rather order at 10 PM on a Thursday and have things arrive on my doorstep by Saturday.

This ghostly graveyard is for die-hard Halloween fans only. Jokes aside, you'll have to be committed in order to pull this one off. Planks of cardboard "wood," gooey green "slime," and even mini tombstones are just the tip of the creepy iceberg here.

Stretch cobwebs to cover door; secure with masking tape. Cut cardboard to resemble various-size wood slats. Paint a "Keep Out" sign on two slats; let dry. Glue bolts to each piece of cardboard. Tape slats to the door.

Set gravestones on and around steps. String the plastic chain from one door light to the other. Tap in nails over the door; loop a chain link over each to secure. For ghost, cross two wooden dowels in a T-shape and duct-tape together. Spear a Styrofoam ball onto the upright dowel for the head; drape the sheet over the top. Trim two eyes from black felt and glue to face, or draw on with permanent marker. Push the bottom dowel into the block of floral foam. Position the ghost near the doorknob and place two rocks on top of the foam (under the sheet) to secure. Cut sheets of vinyl to look like dripping green slime. Tape to stair fronts.
