Susan was born in Kingsburg, CA to Faye and Chester Anderson on May 18, 1946. She attended high school in Kingsburg and married Donald Jensen of Easton, CA on February 26, 1965. She attended Fresno City College and graduated with her bachelors and masters degrees from Fresno State University. She taught English at various colleges and spent the majority of her teaching career at the College of the Sequoias. She was a strong advocate for higher education, whether it be a traditional college education or learning a skilled trade.

Yoshimi 'Matt' Matsuura
Matsuura, Yoshimi "Matt" born in Fowler, California on May 3, 1918, finally heeded the calling from his earlier deceased spouse of 70 years, Kay and after a wonderful 103 years of adventures on this earth, joined with her again on August 23, 2021. He and family were interned at Gila River during World War II. He voluntarily enlisted in the military as a Japanese language translator and engaged in post-war service in Japan. He settled in Minneapolis with his parents and siblings and with his keen, clever engineering mind, he eventually retired as Director of Manufacturing from Warner Manufacturing Company. He remained busier during his retirement years, volunteering and assisting anyone who could benefit from his jack-of-all-trades talents. He was an avid University of Minnesota Gopher sports fan, recognized by the school for being the longest season basketball ticket holder for over 55 years. He is survived by sons Wayne and Richard (Miwa) & grandchildren Andrew, Gregory, Noah and brother Taro (Masa) and sister Jane Hayano (George-deceased). To honor his wishes, no services are planned.
