3 beeps codes is a system board failure and 5 beeps is a CMOS battery failure.
Ensure you backup all imp data on the system first.

Basic troubleshooting steps can often identify common problems and isolate defective components that may cause a computer to beep.
Common and Easily Fixed Beeping Computer Problems
Check the keyboard to ensure that there are no stuck keys and no keys are being held down. Sometimes a keyboard drawer can press a key against the underside of a desk. Run your fingers over the keyboard to free any keys that may be stuck. If a drink was spilled on the keyboard, replace the keyboard with a new one. Try to start the computer again after completing this and each of the following steps.

Hearing random beeps from my laptop at times
There's the specs. anyways yes, the beeping is completely random. there's been no identifiable pattern as to what causes it or when it happens. If this helps any, I had to get my hard drive replace due to it becoming faulty and my laptop wouldn't boot up. After the new drive was put in, It started to sound these beeps as I have described, and they only happen for a split second. I've checked the event log over and can't say I see anything possibly related (aside from a whole mountain of error logs that seem to be to do with my printer, which was installed on my laptop before my hard drive went faulty).
Edit: On another sidenote, I checked Speccy again after a bit of gaming and noticed my laptop's temperature ratings were looking "not so hot" CPU overheat..PNG 55.72KB 1 downloads
